Family Fun at the Farm
Our ever-popular Lambing weekend is back for 2024! Come along and meet our wonderful new additions to the Box Moor Trust flock, learn all about the importance of the sheep in managing the land and the different breeds we have. See the wonderful lambs in their pens with their mothers and meet our expectant ewes as we look after them in their final days of pregnancy.
There will be children’s activities, information all about the wildlife found in the local area, as well as refreshments and the opportunity to talk to our Rangers about the work we do to look after the Box Moor Trust Estate. We are also running a nature trail along the route to the lambing barns, where you can find out all about the newly refurbished pond at Preston Hill as well as the meadows and woodlands along the way.
We ask for a £5 voluntary donation for adults and £2.50 for children. Click here to book your tickets.
