St John’s Summer Fair 2023
Saturday 8 July from 11am to 3pm
St John’s Church are once again holding a Summer Fair in the church grounds, opposite the Sports Centre.
There will be lots of stalls including cakes, produce, toys, books and a raffle, tombola, bric à brac and activities for the children too – something for everyone, young and not so young. And let us not forget the lunchtime Barbecue and the ever popular Pimms stall to cool everyone down!
Vicar Fr Mike will not be in the stocks to be attacked with wet sponges this year but is organising a completely different activity – a “Beat the Vicar” penalty shoot out football game! So, come along and try it!
We cannot promise the glorious weather we have had in the last few years, but that would be the icing on the cake (plenty of cakes on the cake stall and talking of “icing,” there will be ice creams!)
Entry is free and this is a community event, so please do come along and join in the fun!
