The Hospice of St Francis is delighted to announce the return of its much-loved Plant Sale, taking place on Saturday 16th May 2026, from 10am to 2pm at Spring Garden Lane in Berkhamsted. This popular annual fundraiser has become a firm favourite for green-fingered enthusiasts and local families alike, attracting hundreds of keen gardeners each year.
Visitors will be welcomed into the Hospice’s beautiful grounds to explore a wide variety of summer bedding plants, perennials, vegetables and more, all carefully selected to help gardens thrive throughout the season. Alongside the plant stalls, guests can enjoy teas, coffees and cakes, plus a refreshing stop at the on-site ice cream van.
This year’s event features an exciting programme of attractions, including a raffle, marquee tent and an opportunity to see our newly-built yurt. Well-behaved dogs on leads are also warmly welcomed, making the day enjoyable for the whole family. Organisers encourage attendees to car share where possible due to limited on-site parking. The event will open promptly at 10am
