Calendar Girls, based on real events, follows a group of ordinary women from a Yorkshire village who spark a global phenomenon when they decide to produce an alternative Women’s Institute calendar — tastefully posing for photographs that are anything but traditional. If you’ve seen the film, you probably know that the ladies in question decide to pose for pictures of themselves going about various domestic interests from cooking to gardening; but wearing nothing at all!
