Bovingdon Dance Academy is celebrating an incredible achievement as one of its ballet groups has qualified to compete at the Dance World Cup.
Often described as the “Olympics of dance”, Dance World Cup is the largest international dance competition in the world, bringing together thousands of young dancers from over 60 countries. To qualify is a major honour, marking the dancers out as among the very best in their age group, and representing years of dedication, training and passion.
Lexie Final, Erin Bowers, Lily Turner, Lilia Nunn, Maisie Dempsey, Daisy Robinson, Eliza Peters, Imogen Arje and Poppy Ash will now go on to represent both their academy and their country on the global stage – an opportunity that is as exciting as it is prestigious. However, taking part comes with significant costs, including travel, accommodation, costumes and competition fees.
Bovingdon Dance Academy is therefore appealing to local businesses and supporters for sponsorship to help make this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity possible. Anyone interested in supporting these talented young dancers and being part of their journey to Dance World Cup is warmly encouraged to get in touch – hello@bovingdondance.co.uk.
The dancers have a JustGiving page

and will be hosting some fun fundraising events over the next few months.
